Introducing family
わたしの かぞくです。
Watashi no kazoku desu. They are my family.
ぼくの おかあさんです。
Boku no okāsan desu. She's my mother.
いもうとの アンです。
Imōto no Ann desu. This is Ann, my sister.
おとうとの Mike です。
Otōto no Mike desu. This is my brother Mike.

ふたり。

さんにん。
San nin.
よにん。
Yo nin. Be careful! Although 4 is usually pronounced (yon) or (shi). When counting people, the Japanese say よにん (Yo nin), not Yonnin or Shinin.

ななにん・しちにん。
Nana nin, Shichi ninThere are two ways to read "7 people": " shichi nin" and "nana nin".
はちにん。

Yo nin kazoku desu. We're a family of four.

Kazoku ha nan nin desuka. How many people are in your family?
ろくにんかぞくです。
Roku nin kazoku desu. We're a family of six.
さんにんです。
San nin desu. There're three (people) in my family.
ななにんです。しちにんです。
Shichi nin desu. Nana nin desu. There're seven (people) in my family.
